Journal ArticleDOI

Antinociceptive effects of choline against acute and inflammatory pain.

TL;DR: Results demonstrate that activation of alpha7 nicotinic receptors by choline elicits antinociceptive effects both in an acute thermal pain model and in an inflammatory pain model, and holds promise for development as a non-addictive analgesic drug and in reducing the regular dose of aspirin or morphine in inflammatory pain.
Journal Article

Basic and clinical study on the antithrombotic mechanism of glycosaminoglycan extracted from sea cucumber.

TL;DR: GAG possess anticoagulant activity in vivo and it is a promising drug for antithrombotic therapy, mainly affected on the intrinsic pathway of blood coagulation.
Journal ArticleDOI

MiR-20a-5p suppresses tumor proliferation by targeting autophagy-related gene 7 in neuroblastoma

TL;DR: It is found that miR-20a-5p expression was significantly downregulated whereas its target autophagy-related gene 7 (ATG7) was increased along with clinical staging of NB progression and thus autophagic suppression in SH-SY5Y cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

27-Hydroxycholesterol contributes to disruptive effects on learning and memory by modulating cholesterol metabolism in the rat brain.

TL;DR: It is suggested that 27-OHC may negatively modulate cognitive effects and cholesterol metabolism in the brain following the injection of various doses of 27- OHC into the caudal vein.
Journal ArticleDOI

Platelet-rich fibrin/aspirin complex promotes alveolar bone regeneration in periodontal defect in rats.

TL;DR: Aspirin/salicylic acid could be sustained-released from PRF/aspirin complex, which could inhibit inflammation and improve the function of mesenchymal cells.
