Hydrodynamic performance of a pile-supported OWC breakwater: An analytical study

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the hydrodynamics of a pile-supported OWC breakwater by means of an analytical model based on linear wave theory and matched eigenfunction expansion method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Numerical investigation of the solitary wave breaking over a slope by using the finite particle method

TL;DR: In this paper, a numerical investigation of the solitary wave breaking over a slope by using a finite particle method (FPM), which is an enhanced smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH), is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

A stable SPH model with large CFL numbers for multi-phase flows with large density ratios

TL;DR: In this article , the authors developed a weakly compressible smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) model for multi-phase flows with large density ratios while allowing large CFL numbers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Numerical investigation on the water entry of a 3D circular cylinder based on a GPU-accelerated SPH method

TL;DR: In this paper , a GPU-accelerated smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) framework was proposed to solve the 3D water entry of a circular cylinder.
Journal ArticleDOI

A finite particle method based on a Riemann solver for modeling incompressible flows

TL;DR: Zhang et al. as discussed by the authors extended this low-dissipation Riemann solver to the finite particle method (FPM), which can be referred to an enhanced or modified version of the conventional SPH method, for reducing spurious pressure oscillations and meanwhile achieving higher order of accuracy.
