Amorphous alloys with high Fe content for radiation shielding applications

TL;DR: In this article, the radiation shielding properties of newly developed high Fe content amorphous alloys were reported and Monte Carlo simulation method was successfully used to study the problem of radiation propagation through theses alloys under suitable boundary conditions of vacuum.

Nuclear radiation shielding using barium borosilicate glass ceramics

TL;DR: In this article, the ability of glass ceramics that included zirconolite and barite to protect against different kinds of radiation was assessed by using MCNPX (version 2.6.0) codes at 0.015-20 MeV photon energies.
