TL;DR: In this article, an overview of the research activity performed in the framework of the Crystal Clear Collaboration to produce scintillating glasses is presented, and the manufacturing of heavy metal fluoride glasses doped with Ce3+ is discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fast luminescence of undoped PbWO4 crystal
A.N. Belsky,V. V. Mikhailin,Andrey N. Vasil’ev,I. Dafinei,Paul Lecoq,C. Pedrini,P. Chevallier,P. Dhez,Philippe Martin +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the results of an investigation of PbWO4 luminescence properties obtained by time-resolved techniques under VUV, X-ray synchrotron radiation and γ-radiation excitation are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fluorescence and scintillation properties of LuAlO3:Ce crystal
TL;DR: In this article, the authors compared the X-ray excited spectra of LuA10 3 :Ce and BGO crystals, and estimated the light yield of LuAlO 3 of about 10000 photons/MeV for a Ce 3+ concentration of about 0.01 at% in the crystal matrix.
