Journal ArticleDOI

The 5-year outcome of ABO-incompatible kidney transplantation with rituximab induction.

TL;DR: In the long term, inclusion of rituximab in the preoperative regimen yielded an even better outcome than that of ABO-CKT and ritUXimab-untreated A BO-IKT, without any increase in the risk of infection.
Journal ArticleDOI

Anti-AB titer changes in patients with ABO incompatibility after living related kidney transplantations: survey of 101 cases to determine whether splenectomies are necessary for successful transplantation.

TL;DR: Pathological evidence suggests that the decrease in the anti-AB titer after transplantation might be the net result of plasmapheresis before the operation and the adsorption of antibodies to the endothelium of the transplanted organ after the operation, neither of which is influenced by a splenectomy.
Journal ArticleDOI

An experimental sclerosing encapsulating peritonitis model in mice

TL;DR: A convenient experimental model of SEP in mice is developed, which may be useful in elucidating the pathogenesis ofSEP and in establishing possible treatments for this condition.
Journal ArticleDOI

Improved outcomes of renal transplantation from cardiac death donors : A 30-year single center experience

TL;DR: A multivariate Cox regression analysis showed acute rejection and donor age to be independently associated with graft outcome and DCD donors are a valuable source of kidneys for transplantation with promising long‐term outcomes.
