PURPOSE: To obtain the title compsn. in a short time without using any solvents, which gives structures having excellent specific strength and specific modulus, by blending a thermoplastic resin which has a specified glass transition temp. and has been crushed with an impact crusher with a thermosetting resin. CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic resin having a glass transition temp. of 100°C or above, pref. 150°C or above (e.g., a polyether sulfone) is crushed with an impact crusher and classified to obtain a resin powder (A) having a particle size of 200 μm or below, pref. 150 μm or below. A thermosetting resin (B) (e.g., tetreglycidylaminodiphenylmethane) is heated at 100W160°C, pref. 120W150°C and the component A is added thereto to dissolve it. The mixture is cooled. PURPOSE: To reduce a measuring time or cost and to always diagnose a live wire by mounting a metal foil electrode on the corrosion-proof sheath layer of a power cable line and connecting detection impedance thereto to employ a technique enhancing an S/N ratio. CONSTITUTION: A high frequency iron core 4 is mounted to the earth wire 3 of the common connection part 2 of a power cable 1 and a metal foil is wound around a vinyl sheath 5 to expose a terminal and detection impedance 9 is connected between a metal foil electrode 6 having an insulating tape wound therearound and earth and the pulse voltage based on partial discharge is measured in such a state that a measuring apparatus 8 is connected. That is, only by mounting the metal foil electrode at the time of measurement, it is unnecessary to apply labor to the cable part, connection part and earth wire of an existing underground transmission line and a measuring time or cost is reduced largely. CONSTITUTION:A transparent synthetic resin protective layer (e.g., a layer of an unsaturated polyester resin, an epoxy resin or the like, the thickness of which is preferably 1-500mum) 2, an optical recording layer [consisting of a material in which holes can be formed by laser light or the like (e.g., Sb, Te or Te-C), a material the refractive index is varies (e.g., TeOx or Sb-Se), a material capable of forming a color or the like] 3 and an adhesive layer (e.g., a layer of a vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer) 4 are sequentially laminated on a releasable surface 5 of the releasable base 1 such as a polyester film to obtain the objective sheet.

The third contact (33) of the change-over switch (3) is connected via a capacitor (4) with the reference terminal (12) of the digital-to-analog converter (1) wherein said reference terminal (12) is connected to one end of the third resistor (6). The other end of the third resistor (6) is connected with an inverting input (72) of the operational amplifier (7) and at the same time it forms a second terminal (92) of an insulation system of a diagnosed electric machine (9) having its first terminal (91) connected to the operational amplifier (7) output (73). A control input (13) of the digital-to-analog converter (1) is connected to a first output (82) of a control circuit (8) having its second output (83) connected to a control input (34) of the change-over switch (3). The control circuit (8) is provided with a synchronization input (81).

SOLUTION: The article 10 for applying color on a surface comprises a sheet 12 of dry color component and an adhesive 14 on one surface 16 of the sheet 12 of dry color component. In one embodiment, the article is free of a releasable liner and a carrier sheet. In another embodiment, the sheet of dry color component and adhesive have a combined thickness of about 3 mils (0.08 mm) or less. Article and method for applying color on surface

PURPOSE:To make a device small-sized on the whole and to perform partial discharge measurement without stopping the operation of a transformer by generating a calibration pulse from one of two through-type current transformers and connecting a low-pass filter, a high-frequency amplification part, and a display part to the other current transformer. CONSTITUTION:A calibration pulse generation part 23 generates calibration pulses 24, which are applied to a neutral-point line 17 through a current transformer 21. The pulses 24 are detected by a current transformer 22, and a low-pass filter 25 cuts 50 and 60Hz low-frequency components; and a high-frequency amplifica- tion part 26 amplifies about 100Hz partial-discharge pulses, and a display part 27 displays the output of the amplification part. Since the pulses during calibration have known magnitude, the gain of the amplifier 26 is adjusted to adjust the output of the display part 27. Consequently, partial discharge is measured easily without special preparation like stopping a transformer in operation or disconnecting stringing.
