Preparing the books to read every day is enjoyable for many people. However, there are still many people who also don't like reading. This is a problem. But, when you can support others to start reading, it will be better. One of the books that can be recommended for new readers is experience and education. This book is not kind of difficult book to read. It can be read and understand by the new readers.

Experience and Education.

The study identified the collaborative learning approaches as innovative strategies required for equipping business education students for global outlook in Imo State. Three research questions guided the study and three null hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance. A descriptive survey research design was adopted. The population of the s tudy consisted of 54 business educators in tertiary institutions that offer business education courses in Imo state, namely: Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, Imo State Polytechnic Umuagwo and Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri. There was n o sampling. A structured 27 - item questionnaire was used for data collection. The instrument was validated by three experts. The reliability of the instrument was ensured using pilot test which was analyzed using Cronbach Alpha formula and it yielded reliab ility index of 0.85. Data related to the research questions were analyzed using mean while independent samples t - test was used to test the three null hypotheses. Findings of the study revealed that business educators agreed on the collaborative learning ap proaches required for equipping business education students in Imo State. Also business educators agreed on the classroom management control and challenges that may arise in collaborative learning approaches. The study indicated that there was no significa nt difference among the two groups in terms of their mean ratings on the collaborative learning approaches required for equipping business education students in Imo State and classroom management control but there was a significant difference among the two groups in terms of their mean ratings on challenges that may arise in collaborative learning approaches in Imo State based on years of teaching experience. It was concluded that collaborative learning approaches are strategies which will develop students' social skills and improve their relationships with others in the class and the industry. The study recommended among others that an appropriate support should be provided by concerned bodies (deans, departmental heads, administrators, ministry of educatio n) to train students on the concept of collaborative learning approaches and how to convert those concepts into practice. This will empower and equip the students to face the world of work.

Integration of Work-Based Learning Into Higher Education for Economic Development in Nigeria

The purpose of the study was to determine how exposure to workplace apprentice-ship of undergraduates of business education could influence post graduation employability and job creation. Specifically, the study seeks to determine what skills business education graduates need to succeed (that is get employment) in the 21st century workplace and how that ties, into bringing them out of economic recession. Three research questions guided the study. The design is descriptive survey and instrument used was questionnaire. The respondents were 55 postgraduate students of a Nigerian university in Anambra State purposively selected. The findings of the study revealed that there are several teaching methods and that business educators’ should evaluate their disadvantages so as to utilize the most appropriate strategies that could impact positively on business education students’ skills for competitive market. Also that demonstration was rated as the best method of teaching because of students’ active participation, making learning more effective, not relying on rote learning, and this method develops creativity among students among other. Students’ perception and ratings about the interesting and effective teaching methods is a way to suggest improvements in teaching/ learning process. Amongst others, it was recommended that business educators’ need to educate students in effective ways of giving precise feedback that addresses specific aspects of their learning experience by making their teaching interesting. Strategies for effective skill acquisition by business education students: implication for sustainable human capital development

The study determined work-based learning as a strategy considered effective for training students for improved performance in business organizations in South East, Nigeria. Descriptive survey research design was adopted. The population of the study was 144 business educators in tertiary institutions in the South East, Nigeria. One research question guided the study and one hypothesis was tested. An 8 item validated structured questionnaire was used for data collection and the reliability of the instrument established at 0.86 alpha. The data generated from the study were analyzed using descriptive statistics of mean and standard deviation and Analysis of Variance. The mean ratings were used to answer the research question while standard deviation was used to determine the closeness of the respondents’ means. Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was used in testing the null hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. Findings revealed that the respondents considered engaging students in work-based learning as an effective strategy for training students for improved performance in business organizations. Furthermore, the findings revealed that years of experience of the respondents did not significantly influence their mean ratings on the effectiveness of engaging students in work based learning as a strategy for training students for improved performance in business organizations. It was recommended among others, that administrators of business education programme should go into partnership with private organization so as to work out a work-based learning arrangement that will improve students’ work skills. It was also recommended that work-based learning programme should be integrated into business education programmes as a full course by the administrators of business education programme in tertiary institutions. Perceived effectiveness of work-based learning as a strategy for students training for improved performance in business organizations in south-east nigeria

In recent time, graduates from the nation’s tertiary institution of learning most especially the business education graduates have been plagued by the inability to get jobs in corporate industries and companies in Nigeria. Many authors and researchers have related this problem to the quality of training received by these graduates while in school which is devoid of skills required to meet up with the demands of the business world. It is in seeking a solution to this problem that the authors delved through literature to determine effective strategies for teaching business education students for corporate governance. The strategies proffered included: the integration of business ethics courses in the business education curriculum, training and retraining of business educators for corporate governance, engaging students in work-based learning and the adoption of online learning in teaching of corporate governance. The authors believe that these strategies if judiciously adopted will to a great extent improve the quality of business education graduates and improve their chances of being employed in corporate organizations in Nigeria.
