PURPOSE:To facilitate fuel combustion and reduce the occurrence of smoke for an engine wherein an open/close valve is provided at an air intake passage and opened in the course of a suction stroke at a low speed and load condition, by providing a control means for actuating said valve even in a low speed and high load range. CONSTITUTION:In an engine wherein a limiting device for introducing suction air is provided at an air intake passage 8 for limiting an air flow into a combustion chamber 3 until the half-way of a suction stroke and causing the sudden introduction of air into said chamber 3 in the course of a suction stroke for adiabatic compression through the operation of an open/close valve 10, it is made possible to change over the open/close valve 10 by the actuating device 11 thereof as controlled through a control means 12, so that said valve 10 will be in a working condition and a stop condition wherein operation stops and the air intake passage 8 is open through-out a suction stroke. And the control means 12 is made active at a relatively low speed and particular operation range at a low load side, while said valve 10 is so controlled as to be operable at a low speed and high load range, regardless of said particular operation range.

SOLUTION: A shot pump 3 for the main agent and a shot pump 4 for the curing agent are installed on a movable stand 7 and filling supply ports 8a and 8b of the main agent Wa and the curing agent Wb are provided on the under side of the shot pump 3 for the main agent and the shot pump 4 for the curing agent to connect the pipes 6a and 6b to the filling supply ports 8a and 8b while discharge port 9a and 9b of the main agent Wa and the curing agent Wb are provided on the upper side of the shot pump 3 for the main agent and the shot pump 4 for the curing agent. The discharge ports 9a and 9b of the shot pump 3 for the main agent and the shot pump 4 for the curing agent are connected to a mixer 11 such as a static mixer or the like through pipes 10a and 10b. Variable speed type two-liquid metering and mixing control method and apparatus therefor

PURPOSE:To provide a measuring/mixing device of which the structure is simple, and which has a high measuring precision by feeding a pulse signal for a dividing ratio corresponding with the mixing ratio of a viscous material to a pulse motor which drives respective gear pumps. CONSTITUTION:The reflectance for each wave leangth of a reference color 13 is measured by a spectrophotometer 12. An operation processing device 11 analyzes the pattern of the reflectance obtained from the spectrophotometer 12 and operates a mixing ratio of each base ink in order to develop the reference color 13, and outputs a signal corresponding with the mixing ratio of each base ink, which is calculated, to a driving control device 10. The control device generates a driving pulse signal for which a reference clock pulse is divided by a plurality of kinds of dividing ratios in response to the received signal. The generated driving pulse signals with different dividing ratios are transmitted to respective corresponding pulse motors 6a, 6b... 6n, and the pulse motors are simultaneously rotated at speeds corresponding with the mixing ratios of the base inks. In the meantime, the base inks are taken out from ink containers 2 by gear pumps 5a-5n, and are discharged in mixing container 8.

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled machine having a short rise time to perform stable material-supply regardless of the change or degree of viscosity, by setting the drive rotation number of a feed pump, which determines a component-mixing ratio, on the basis of pulses generated from a quartz oscillator. CONSTITUTION:A digital servo 5, 5, which digitally controls the rotation of each DC motor 6, 6 with a rate corresponding to a component mixing ratio, is constructed by a quartz oscillator 51, a frequency-dividing circuit 52, a digital setter 53, a comparing circuit 54, a D/A converter 55, a DC motor-controller 56, a pulse oscillator 57 and a tachogenerator 58. A digital signal representing a difference, between the pulse signal of frequency corresponding to the preset rotation number from the frequency-dividing circuit 52 and that corresponding to an actual rotation number from the pulse generator 57, is converted into an analog signal by the converter 55. Each DC motor 6 to drive a pump 3, 3 is controlled by the controller 56 in a manner such that its rotation number corresponds to the preset rotation number.
