Decrease of VLF transmitter signal and Chorus-whistler waves before l'Aquila earthquake occurrence
Mohammed Y. Boudjada,Konrad Schwingenschuh,R. Döller,A. Rohznoi,Michel Parrot,P. F. Biagi,Patrick H. M. Galopeau,Maria Solovieva,O. A. Molchanov,Helfried K. Biernat,Helfried K. Biernat,G. Stangl,Helmut Lammer,Iren Adelina Moldovan,W. Voller,M. Ampferer +15 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigate the VLF emissions observed by the Instrument Champ Electrique (ICE) experiment onboard the DEMETER micro-satellite and analyze intensity level variation 10 days before and after the occurrence of l'Aquila earthquake.
Journal ArticleDOI
Anomalies observed in VLF and LF radio signals on the occasion of the western Turkey earthquake (Mw = 5.7) on May 19, 2011
Pier Francesco Biagi,F. Righetti,Tommaso Maggipinto,Luigi Schiavulli,Teresa Ligonzo,A. Ermini,Iren Adelina Moldovan,A. S. Moldovan,Hugo G. Silva,Mourad Bezzeghoud,Michael E. Contadakis,Dimitrios Arabelos,Thomas D. Xenos,Aydın Büyüksaraç +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a network of VLF (20 - 60 kHz) and LF (150 - 300 kHz) radio receivers is operating in Europe in order to study the disturbances produced by the earthquakes on the propagation of these signals.
Journal ArticleDOI
The INFREP Network: Present Situation and Recent Results
P. F. Biagi,Roberto Colella,Luigi Schiavulli,A. Ermini,Mohammed Y. Boudjada,Hans Eichelberger,Konrad Schwingenschuh,Konstantinos Katzis,Michael E. Contadakis,Christos Skeberis,Iren Adelina Moldovan,Mourad Bezzeghoud +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented the results obtained on the occasion of recent (2016-2017) seismic activities which occurred in the “sensitive” zone of the INFREP network are presented, that is: the location of the receivers, the locations of the VLF/LF transmitters whose signal is sampled, the daily download of the data collected by the receivers on the InfREP server and the method of data analysis used in order to identify possible radio precursors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Correlation of geomagnetic anomalies recorded at Muntele Rosu Seismic Observatory (Romania) with earthquake occurrence and solar magnetic storms
Iren Adelina Moldovan,Anica Otilia Placinta,Angela Petruta Constantin,A. S. Moldovan,Constantin Ionescu +4 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a statistical cross-correlation between geomagnetic anomalies, earthquake occurrence and solar magnetic storms, using data from Muntele Rosu (MLR) Observatory, and from Surlari (SUA) and/or Tihany (THY) INTERMAGNET Observatories.
Journal Article
The geomagnetic method on precursory phenomena associated with 2004 significant intermediate-depth Vrancea seismic activity.
TL;DR: In this paper, the hypocentral coordinates of the Vrancea earthquake of October 27, 2004, are: 45.8 N, 26.7 E and h=100 km.
