Machine Learning Algorithms in Civil Structural Health Monitoring: A Systematic Review

TL;DR: The efficacy of deploying ML algorithms in SHM has been discussed and detailed critical analysis of ML applications in SHm has been provided, practical recommendations have been made and current knowledge gaps and future research needs have been outlined.
Journal ArticleDOI

Machine learning prediction of carbonation depth in recycled aggregate concrete incorporating SCMs

TL;DR: The GBRT proved to be a robust tool that could be used to provide an insight into the resistance of concrete to carbonation and could be extended to predicting other features of concrete incorporating diverse recycled materials.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mixture Optimization of Recycled Aggregate Concrete Using Hybrid Machine Learning Model

TL;DR: Developing state-of-the-art machine learning models to predict the RAC compressive strength and optimize its mixture design and results show that the developed models achieved robust predictive performance, with the gradient boosting regression trees yielding highest prediction accuracy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Estimating compressive strength of modern concrete mixtures using computational intelligence: A systematic review

TL;DR: In this article, the use of machine learning techniques to predict compressive strength of modern concrete mixtures is discussed and the hyperparameters of various machine learning models along with the achieved accuracy are critically analyzed and discussed.
