Adsorption of NO2, NH3 on monolayer MoS2 doped with Al, Si, and P: A first-principles study

TL;DR: In this paper, the structural properties, electronic properties, and magnetic properties of NO 2, NH 3 gas molecules on Al-, Si-, and P-doped monolayer MoS 2 were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Damping properties of aluminum matrix–fly ash composites

TL;DR: In this article, the damping properties of hollow sphere fly ash/6061Al composites with various reinforcement diameters and with about 40 vol.% porosities have been measured by using the forced vibration mode and the bending-vibration mode on the multifunctional internal friction apparatus.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of post-weld heat treatment on microstructure and mechanical properties of TLP bonded Inconel718 superalloy

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of post-weld heat treatment on the interfacial microstructure and joining properties of Inconel718 joints were investigated in detail, and the results showed that precipitation of second phases in joints induced by post welder heat treatment were beneficial to the improvement of joint properties.
Journal ArticleDOI

Microstructure and fracture properties of reaction-assisted diffusion bonding of TiAl intermetallic with Al/Ni multilayer foils

TL;DR: In this paper, reaction-assisted diffusion bonding of TiAl intermetallic was performed using Al/Ni multilayer foils as interlayers and the typical microstructure and the joining mechanism were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Microstructure evolution and reaction mechanism during reactive joining of TiAl intermetallic to TiC cermet using Ti-Al-C-Ni interlayer

TL;DR: In this article, a self-propagating high-temperature synthesis method was proposed for the joining of TiAl intermetallic to TiC cermets by selfpropagation, and the adiabatic combustion temperature in the Ti-Al-C-Ni system was calculated.
