TL;DR: The date ingredient diets supported broiler weights and feed conversions comparable to or better than the control diet, and the quail breeder feed consumption decreased at the 30% date level; however in the second trial 24% dates supported normal intake.

Spent leghorn Hens Converted Into a Feedstuff

TL;DR: In this paper, a process developed to convert spent Leghorn hens into feedstuffs was studied, and the results showed that when fed to broilers from days 1-21 at levels of 3-9%, these diets supported good growth and feed conversion.
