Microwave-assisted extraction of pectic polysaccharide from waste mango peel.

TL;DR: The optimum microwave assisted extraction conditions for the highest pectin yield from WMP was found to be: microwave power of 413W, pH of 2.7, time of 134s and solid-liquid ratio of 1:18g/ml, well correlated with predicted value at the optimal condition.
Journal ArticleDOI

Retracted: Multiple Response Analysis and Optimization of Microwave-Assisted Extraction of Antioxidant Phenolic Compounds of Waste Mangifera indica L Peel

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated and optimized the effect of process variables such as microwave power, pH, and solid-liquid ratio on the maximum extraction of total phenolic, flavonoid and antioxidant content from waste mango peel by microwave-assisted extraction using Box-Behnken design.
Book ChapterDOI

Studies on Drying Characteristics of Rhizomes of Ginger (Zingiber officinale Rosc)

TL;DR: In this article, the drying characteristics of ginger such as moisture ratio (MR), drying rate (DR), effective moisture diffusivity (EMD), energy consumption (EC), and drying efficiency (DE) were investigated by microwave drying method using five different power levels.
