An Optical Study of Hydrogen Insertion in the Anodic Oxide of Vanadium

TL;DR: In this paper, an optical study of hydrogen insertion in anodic oxide of vanadium was performed, and an optical inflection was observed when the phase boundary reached the substrate, and no additional hydrogen is electrochemically bonded into the structure past this point.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrochemical and Optical Properties of Anodic Oxide Films on Titanium

TL;DR: In this article, the anodic oxidation of titanium in aqueous and non-aqueous electrolytes was studied using ellipsometric and electrochemical techniques, and closed-circuit transients were used to determine the relation between the current density and the electric field.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analysis of Ellipsometric Data in Electrochemical Systems Using the Simplex Algorithm

TL;DR: In this paper, the methode du simplex is utilised for suivre la croissance cristalline de la polyaniline a une electrode en titane, and influence du poids statistique for evaluer l'epaisseur de la couche deposee
Journal ArticleDOI

Anodic Oxidation of Tungsten in Non‐Aqueous Electrolyte I . Optical Anisotropy of the Oxide Film

TL;DR: In this paper, the optical properties of the oxide film grown on tungsten by anodization in acetic acid electrolyte were analyzed using ellipsometry and the results were compared with the predictions of the theory of electrostriction, and with the results of studies of other oxides.
