Journal ArticleDOI

Electrochemical behavior of metal hydrides

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of the chemical nature and stoichiometry of specific alloy families (AB5, A2B, AB/AB2 and AB2) on the hydride stability, hydrogen storage capacity and kinetics of hydrogen sorption-desorption in the solid phase/gas and solid phase-electrolyte solution systems is discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

The study of hydrogen electrosorption in layered nickel foam/palladium/carbon nanofibers composite electrodes

TL;DR: In this paper, the process of hydrogen electrosorption occurring in alkaline KOH solution on the nickel foam/palladium/carbon nanofibers (Ni/Pd/CNF) composite electrodes is examined.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrooxidation of phenol at exfoliated graphite electrode in alkaline solution

TL;DR: In this article, exfoliated graphite (EG) was used for the cyclic electrochemical process of phenol oxidation in alkaline solution, and it was shown that the electrochemical activity of anode-produced EG decreases considerably in the second cycle due to the deposition of an oligomer film, composed of the products of POMO on the EG surface.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hybrid lead-acid battery with reticulated vitreous carbon as a carrier- and current-collector of negative plate

TL;DR: In this paper, a negative plate carrier-and current-collector material for lead-acid batteries was investigated and the promising results showed that application of RVC as carrier and current collector in negative plate will significantly increase the specific capacity of leadacid battery.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electrochemical behavior of nickel deposited on reticulated vitreous carbon

TL;DR: In this paper, the electrochemical performance of reticulated vitreous carbon (RVC) has been investigated in solutions of KOH and showed that the RVC covered with nickel is a good carrier for Ni(OH) 2 /NiOOH.
