Journal ArticleDOI

Defect structure of β-LiAl

TL;DR: In this paper, a model based on the coexistence of two types of defects, namely, vacancies in the lithium sub-lattice and lithium antistructure atoms in the aluminum sublattices, characterized the defect structure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Li7 self diffusion in LiAl—An NMR study

TL;DR: The self diffusion of Li 7 in near stoichiometric LiAl has been investigated by observing the Li 7 and Al 27 NMR relaxation rates as mentioned in this paper, and the diffusivity for a Li 7 atom is determined to be D = 9 × 10 −6 exp (−0.12 eV/kT) cm 2 /sec.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electronic structure of β′-NiAl

TL;DR: The electrical resistivity, Hall effect, and magnetoresistance of β'-phase NiAl (45 ~ 60) at% Ni, CsCl-type structure) have been measured on about ten specimens of different compositions as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Magnetic properties of CoGa alloys and the transition from spin glass to ferromagnetism

TL;DR: In this article, the AC susceptibility and Faraday balance susceptibility on CoxGa1-x slow-cooled samples are reported for compositions 0.48
Journal ArticleDOI

Li self-diffusion in pure and doped β-LiAl using pulsed-field gradient NMR

TL;DR: In this paper, the self-diffusion coefficient of 7Li in pure and doped β-LiAl has been measured over the temperature range 297-478 K using a pulsed-field-gradient NMR spin-echo technique.
