Modern Aspects of Electrochemistry

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors focus on topics at the forefront of electrochemical research, such as splitting water by electrolysis, splitting water with visible light, and the recent development of lithium batteries.
Journal ArticleDOI

The electrode kinetics of the deposition and dissolution of iron

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the deposition and dissolution of Fe as a function of potential for constant solution compositions: Fe 2+ concentration at constant pH; pH at constant Fe2+ concentration; and the presence of the anions SO42−, Cl −, ClO4−, Ac− and NO3−.

Surface Electrochemistry: A Molecular Level Approach

TL;DR: In this paper, the Interphasial Structure of Electrode Kinetics is discussed and the Electrochemistry of Cleaner Environments is discussed, as well as some Electrical Aspects of the Stability of Materials.
Journal ArticleDOI

On the structure of charged interfaces

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the distortion dielectric constant of the water adsorbed on an electrode is six, not n2, and the constant minimum capacity on the negative branch is interpreted in terms of a model in which Gouy adsorption begins outside the first layer of water molecules.
