Right atrial botryoid rhabdomyosarcoma in an adult patient with recurrent pleomorphic rhabdomyosarcomas following doxorubicin therapy
TL;DR: A case of a 37-year-old Hispanic woman who presented with a right atrial botryoid rhabdomyosarcoma 2 years after doxorubicin therapy for a recurrent pleomorphic rhab domiciliary cancer of the chest wall most likely represents a cardiac metastasis with maturation of chemotherapy-resistant tumor cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pulmonary Adenocarcinoma, Intra-alveolar Variant: A Rare Entity Mimicking Desquamative Interstitial Pneumonia.
TL;DR: This case represents an unusual variant of pulmonary adenocarcinoma with a pure intra-alveolar pattern of involvement, mimicking DIP, in a 64-year-old woman status post bilateral lung transplantation, who was radiologically thought to have an interstitial lung disease.
Journal ArticleDOI
MIB-1 as a predictor of response in lung allografts with moderate acute cellular rejection
TL;DR: The results indicate that the proliferating cells in acute lung rejection are a heterogeneous pool of T- and B-lymphocytes, T-helper cells, macrophages, endothelial cells, and possibly parenchymal cells and that MIB-1 is a valuable tool in the evaluation of total cellular activity in this setting.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nodular histiocytic and mesothelial hyperplasia.
TL;DR: Nodular histiocytic/mesothelial hyperplasia is a benign lesion with no sex or age predilection and is postulated that NHMH is a reactive process.
Journal ArticleDOI
An unusual late reaction to facial injections.
TL;DR: A case in which several localized granulomatous reactions developed at the facial injection sites 10 years after injection is presented, which is the longest lag period between collagen injection and onset of hypersensitivity reaction reported to date.
