TL;DR: This study will evaluate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of placing social workers in schools (SWIS) on the need for social care interventions through three key pathways: enhancing schools’ response to safeguarding issues, increased collaboration between social workers, school staff, and parents, and improving relationships between social worker and young people.
