Abstract: The provision of electric power is one of the prerequisites of prosperity; there is strong correlation between electric power-generating capacity and per capita gross domestic product (GDP)[1]. Across the world, economic indicators signal that there will be continued growth and increased electricity demand; also, at least 3.6 billion people lack adequate access to electricity and 1.6 billion have no electricity at all.
