Journal ArticleDOI

High-level expression and stabilization of recombinant human chitinase produced in a continuous constitutive Pichia pastoris expression system.

TL;DR: Continuous production of the enzyme by P. pastoris with the GAP promoter was demonstrated in a 1.5-L working volume fermentor using either glucose or glycerol as the carbon source and no proteolytic degradation was seen in the continuous fermentation mode.
Journal ArticleDOI

Scale-up of a high cell density continuous culture with Pichia pastoris X-33 for the constitutive expression of rh-chitinase.

TL;DR: The feasibility of large‐scale production of recombinant human chitinase using a constitutive Pichia pastoris expression system was demonstrated in a 21‐L continuous stirred tank reactor and all large-scale cultivations were conducted without molecular oxygen supplementation.

Expression system for recombinant proteins

TL;DR: A continuous fermentation process has been developed in Pichia pastoris (P. pastoris) is order to produce large quantities of recombinant human proteins as mentioned in this paper, which can be extended for long periods of time with an excellent steadystate protein concentration and cell densities achieved.

Serum-free medium supplement

TL;DR: A serum-free eukaryotic cell culture medium supplement consisting of carbon sources, vitamins, inorganic salts, amino acids and a protein digest has been proposed in this paper to enable the maintenance of mammalian cell cultures at cell densities equal to or greater than that obtained with batch culture methods.

Systeme d'expression de proteines recombinees

TL;DR: In this article, Pichia Pastoris (P.pastoris) introduced a process of fermentation continué, which is based on un procede de fermentation continu qui a ete mis au point dans la levure pichia pastoris, in order to produce quantites elevees de proteines humaines recombinees.
