TL;DR: The proposed criteria for the new electrocardiographic voltage criteria to diagnose left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) demonstrated that their proposed criteria are the sum of the amplitudes of the deepest S-wave in any single lead and of the S- wave in lead V4.
