Method of identification of a relationship between biological elements

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for identifying a relationship between biological elements potentially having a measurable activity was proposed, the method comprising the following steps: - defining candidate graphs, each candidate graph being a graph associated with one of the threshold values of the plurality of threshold values, for each threshold value, obtaining an associated distribution by optimization of the distribution into classes of peaks of the associated graph at the considered threshold value.

A Central Limit Theorem for $L_p$ transportation cost with applications to Fairness Assessment in Machine Learning

TL;DR: An estimate of the asymptotic variance is provided which enables to build a two sample test to assess the similarity between two distributions and this test is then used to provide a new criterion to assessment the notion of fairness of a classification algorithm.

A Consistent Extension of Discrete Optimal Transport Maps for Machine Learning Applications

TL;DR: In this article, the authors extend a method to learn a consistent estimator of a continuous optimal transport map from two empirical distributions and derive a consistent framework for transport-based counterfactual explanations in fairness.
