The environmental pollution source-tracing method includes the steps: acquiring pollution factor data to construct a pollution source DNA library and updating the pollution source DNA library in real time; establishing a diffusion model, performing storage,management, query and analysis of comprehensive data acquisition on data of monitoring points, forming long lasting data accumulation, and realizing a basic database of environmental monitoring data;completing butt joint with a water quality and air automatic monitoring station; collecting related monitoring data in real time or at regular intervals; dividing pollutants into primary pollutants and secondary pollutants; deducing the secondary pollutants according to a reverse reaction principle to obtain corresponding primary pollutants; and analyzing the primary pollutants on the basis of afactor analysis method, a clustering analysis method and an analytic hierarchy process, and matching the pollution source DNA library to determine a pollution source in combination with the diffusionmodel and a GIS map, so that technical analysis support is provided for an environmental emergency event decision maker to quickly discover a pollution source.
