According to the cast TBM cutter box and the preparation method, the cutter box is divided into a three-layer cutter holder composite form of the upper cutter holder, the middle cutter holder and the lower cutter holder, and thecutter box is completed through a casting process; compared with a traditional forging and welding mode, the machining allowance of the cutter box is reduced, and the influence of welding stress is eliminated; a high-carbon and high-chromium material is poured on the upper cutter holder, and a high-hardness wear-resisting layer is formed after cooling, so that abrasion to the surface of the cutter box is reduced; the middle cutter holder adopts the high-strength alloy steel material, the tensile strength can reach 1100 - 1200 Mpa after heat treatment quenching and tempering, and alternating stress borne by the cutter box can be effectively resisted, so that the service life is prolonged; and the lower cutter holder adopts the common structural steel material, so that the cost of the cutter box is effectively reduced.
