Journal ArticleDOI

Cooperative beamforming for multi-relay networks with limited feedback

TL;DR: Simulation results demonstrate that the outage performance of proposed CQE-MRB scheme is improved substantially with an increasing number of relays, and it is shown that the number of channel quantization bits can be further optimized to minimize the outage probability of this scheme.
Journal ArticleDOI

Beamforming Aided Secrecy Energy Efficiency Maximization in Heterogeneous Cellular Networks

TL;DR: In this article, a joint beamforming based SEEM (JBF-SEEM) scheme was proposed to obtain a better balance between the secrecy rate and energy efficiency of heterogeneous cellular networks, where the authors considered the use of artificial noise (AN) signals emitted at MBS and SBSs to defend against eavesdroppers.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Transmit antenna selection to improve physical layer security for MIMO-CR systems

TL;DR: As the numbers of antennas of SU and SD increase, the secrecy outage probability of OAS and SAS both have significant improvements, and the performance comparison of single-input-single-output cognitive radio (SISO-CR) system is discussed.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Optimal power allocation for joint cooperative beamforming and jamming assisted wireless networks

TL;DR: This paper examines the physical layer security for cooperative wireless networks with multiple intermediate nodes, where the decode-and-forward (DF) protocol is considered and proposes a new joint cooperative beamforming and jamming (JCBJ) scheme to protect wireless communication against eavesdropping.
Journal ArticleDOI

Joint Optimization of Power Splitting and Beamforming in Energy Harvesting Cooperative Networks

TL;DR: The numerical results show that the proposed JBRJS scheme beneficially enhances the PLS compared to the joint random relay and jammer selection (JRRJS) and to the pure best relay selection (PBRS) schemes.
