With the rapid development of the space project of China,there will have been 80 satellites in-orbit by 2010.It is necessary to establish a multi-spacecraft in-orbit supporting platform.This paper puts forward the system solution and the constitution of the platform,and gaves the interfaces among the major subsystems.

Establishing Multi-spacecraft in-orbit Supporting Platform

The MIL-STD-1553B data bus is widely used in modern spacecraft. Since a 1553B bus can support 31 remote terminals (RT) at most, a complex spacecraft possibly has multiple 1553B buses, and these buses need to work simultaneously. How to efficiently manage multiple 1553B buses by a single bus controller (BC) is a challenging problem for such spacecraft. To solve this problem, we design and implement a pipeline-based data scheduling method. First, we introduce the procedure of data transmission and the concept of preemptive scheduling. Second, we break the procedure into modules and propose the pipeline-based data scheduling method. Third, we implement scheduling software based on the method and evaluate the performance of the method through experiments. We successfully applied the software on the Tianhe core module and achieved good performance. 

Design and Implementation of a Pipeline-Based Data Scheduling Method for Spacecraft with Multiple Data Buses

There are various different kinds of on-board satellite data (called 'satellite integrated data'), such as telemetry, telecommand, diagnosis knowledge, etc. Because some of the data (such as telemetry) is very large and most of these data is needed to be inquired in near real time, a stronger management strategy is needed to deal with the data. This paper researched the key techniques about satellite integrated data management, proposed a method to classify satellite integrated data. For telemetry, a compress algorithm is given using its slowly changed characteristic and an eigenvalues extraction algorithm is used for drawing the telemetry curve graph when users search the telemetry. For on-board state information data (such as telecommand, diagnosis knowledge, etc), a data type description method is given to manage it. Based on these researches, a satellite integrated database system is designed and implemented, the system manage the satellite integrated data well in practice.
