Journal ArticleDOI

Selective solid-phase extraction using molecularly imprinted polymer for the analysis of polar organophosphorus pesticides in water and soil samples.

TL;DR: The molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) enabled the selective extraction of four organophosphorus pesticides successfully from water and soil samples, demonstrating the potential of molecularly implanted solid-phase extraction for rapid, selective, and cost-effective sample pretreatment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Films coated with molecular imprinted polymers for the selective stir bar sorption extraction of monocrotophos

TL;DR: Compared with traditional MIP and SBSE, the MIP-coated film showed not only the high selectivity but also the rapid equilibrium adsorption, which suggests that both the amino group and PO part of these molecules is responsible for interaction with the imprinted polymer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Determination of glucosamine in impure chitin samples by high-performance liquid chromatography.

TL;DR: The HPLC method was found to be specific with good linearity, accuracy, precision, and well suited for quantitation of glucosamine and determination of the purity of chitin in biological materials and food products.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparative analysis of clary sage (S. sclarea L.) oil volatiles by GC-FTIR and GC-MS

TL;DR: In this paper, the analysis of volatiles in essential oil by gas chromatography-Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (GC-FTIR) and GC-MS is investigated using a DB-wax capillary column.
Journal ArticleDOI

A new molecularly imprinted polymer for selective extraction of cotinine from urine samples by solid-phase extraction

TL;DR: This investigation has provided a reliable MISPE–HPLC method for determination of cotinine in human urine from both active smokers and passive smokers.
