Journal ArticleDOI
Advanced development in chemical analysis of Cordyceps.
TL;DR: The number of publications related to Cordyceps after 2006 is about 2-fold of that in two decades before 2006 according to the data from Web of Science.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of Polysaccharides from Different Species of Dendrobium (Shihu) on Macrophage Function
TL;DR: Chemical characteristic studies showed that CPs from different species of Dendrobium were diverse, displaying widely varied Mw distributions and molar ratios of monosaccharides, and exerted the strongest immunomodulatory activities.
Journal ArticleDOI
Quality evaluation of lentinan injection produced in China
Yan-Gan Chen,De-Jun Hu,Kit-Leong Cheong,Jianqing Li,Jing Xie,Jing Zhao,Shao-Ping Li,Shao-Ping Li +7 more
TL;DR: Quality consistency of lentinan injections from different manufacturers in China was poor, which should be greatly improved to ensure their safety and efficacy.
Journal ArticleDOI
A novel sample preparation and on-line HPLC–DAD–MS/MS–BCD analysis for rapid screening and characterization of specific enzyme inhibitors in herbal extracts: Case study of α-glucosidase
TL;DR: The developed method could discover specific α-glucosidase inhibitors in complex mixtures such as plant extracts, which could also be used for discovery of specific inhibitors of other enzymes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparison of polysaccharides from two species of Ganoderma.
TL;DR: Enzymatic digestion showed that polyshaccharides from all samples of Lingzhi could be hydrolyzed by pectinase and dextranase, and both the HPSEC-ELSD profiles and the molecular weights of the polysaccharides were similar.
