Kernelized fuzzy attribute C-means clustering algorithm

TL;DR: Experimental results on standard Iris database and tumor/normal gene chip expression data demonstrate that kernelized fuzzy attribute C-means clustering algorithm with Gaussian radial basis kernel function and Cauchy stable function is more effective and robust than fuzzy C- means.
Journal ArticleDOI

A hybrid SVM/DDBHMM decision fusion modeling for robust continuous digital speech recognition

TL;DR: An improved hybrid support vector machine and duration distribution based hidden Markov (SVM/DDBHMM) decision fusion model for robust continuous digital speech recognition and the effectiveness of FSVM in Iris data is shown.
Journal ArticleDOI

A DTW-based probability model for speaker feature analysis and data mining

TL;DR: A DTW-based statistical model is proposed to explore the subspace structures of speaker feature space for feature evaluation, dimension reduction and inter-class information discovery in pattern space to demonstrate its usefulness in isolated digits speaker identification.

Function Based Nonlinear Least Squares and Application to Jelinski--Moranda Software Reliability Model

Jingwei Liu, +1 more
- 25 Aug 2011 -
TL;DR: A novel power transformation function based nonlinear least squares estimation (powLSE) is proposed and applied to the parameter estimation of Jelinski-Moranda model and the experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of powLSE with optimal power index compared to the classical least--squares estimation (LSE), maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) and LogLSE in terms of recursively relative error (RE) index and Braun statistic index.

Parameter Estimation of Jelinski-Moranda Model Based on Weighted Nonlinear Least Squares and Heteroscedasticity.

TL;DR: The experimental results on standard software reliability analysis database-Naval Tactical Data System (NTDS) and three datasets used by J.D. Musa demonstrate that WNLSE method can be superior to LSE and MLE under the relative error (RE) criterion.
