Improving the Performance of IWDM FBG Sensing System Using Tabu-Gradient Search Algorithm

TL;DR: In this article, a Tabu-gradient search algorithm is presented for improving the performance of FBG sensors in an intensity and wavelength-division multiplexed sensing system, and simulation results demonstrated that by using this technique the Bragg wavelengths of the FBG detectors can be accurately and quickly detected even when the original spectrums of FBGs sensors can not be pre-determined.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Multi-channel Digital Fringe Calibration for Structured Light Profilometers using Neural Networks

TL;DR: This paper analytically review the nature of the major error sources associated with the multi-channel approach and proposes a fringe calibration technique with emphasis on minimal photometric calibration.
Journal ArticleDOI

A time-domain interpolation approach for DFT harmonic analysis

TL;DR: It is shown by theoretical analysis and computer simulations that the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce the leakage effect and thus improve the accuracy of harmonic analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

A novel parallel IIR adaptive line enhancer model structure

TL;DR: In this paper, a novel parallel adaptive line enhancer (PALE) model structure based on an infinite impulse response (IIR) bandpass filter is proposed for estimating and retrieving multiple frequencies buried in noise.
