TL;DR: In this article, a systematic synthesis study of the iron arsenate-sulphate compounds produced during the autoclave treatment of refractory gold ores and concentrates was undertaken; in addition to scorodite and Fe(SO4), two other compounds, designated as Phase 3 and Phase 4, were identified.
