A systematic review of blockchain technology use in e-supply chain in internet of medical things (iomt)

Purpose: The research explored empirical evidence to assess the impact of cyber security and supply chain risk on digital operations in the UAE pharmaceutical industry. 
Methodology/Design/Approach: Based on responses from 243 personnel working at 14 pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in Dubai, data were examined for normality, instrument validity and regression analysis. Cyber security and SC risk on digital operations were explored by applying convenient sampling and descriptive and analytical research design. 
Findings: The findings validated the significant positive association between cyber security and supply chain risk with digital operations. 
Research implications and Limitations: The research model was developed with three variables evaluated only on the pharmaceutical industry in Dubai. Future research should focus on multiple manufacturing industries by covering a larger geographic area. 
Practical implications: When suppliers are highly concentrated, customer-focused organisations with uncertain levels of digital transformation could improve their ability to manage supply chain risk by diversifying their clients. Pharmaceutical firms may require a greater focus on technology-based manufacturing firms to build and maintain customer trust. 
Originality Value: To illustrate how the pharmaceutical industry has explored the relationship between cyber security, supply chain risk and digital operations, the research highlights the significant and convoluted consequences of the relationship model that have not been previously considered.

A systematic review on security vulnerabilities to preveny types of attacks in iomt

The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) is, in fact, a fast-developing healthcare technology that has a great deal of room for improvement in terms of security. Like any other device that is linked to the internet, IoMT is susceptible to security flaws. These breaches have the potential to have an influence not just on the operation of the device, but also on the security and privacy of the data (S&P). The fallout from these violations may have potentially catastrophic and even life-threatening effects. A stakeholder-centric approach was used in the technique that was developed, with the goal of increasing the level of security of transportable IoMT devices. The suggested technique to measure the level of security present inside wearable IoMT’s is based on a combination of S&P characteristics that have been defined for such devices. Second, a technique was developed for measuring the level of security included inside such devices. At the end of the presentation, a case study was given to show how the conceptual framework may be used to the grading of Wearable IoMT’s with regard to features of S&P. The purpose of this paper is to assist hesitant consumers in choosing an IoMT device that is secure, to encourage healthy competition among makers of IoMT devices, and to ultimately raise the bar for the safety of mobile IoMT devices

Stakeholders' perspectives on wearable internet of medical things privacy and security

This paper examines the validity of Purchasing Power Parity between Jordan and its major trading partners namely, Turkey, Qatar, Iraq, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Unit root tests, Johansen cointegration test were employed to test the data covering the period of 2000Q1-2020Q4. The unit root tests demonstrated that all variables are integrated of order one. The results of cointegration tests showed that there exists a cointegrating relationship between exchange rate, domestic and foreign price levels for the selected countries does have a cointegration relationship. This suggests that whenever there is a deviation from the equilibrium cointegrating relationship, exchange rate interacts in a dynamic fashion in adjusting to restore long-run equilibrium. As a conclusion, these results provide evidence on Purchasing Power Parity model hold in the long run and the Jordanian economy is integrated with these countries.
