A lockable storage case includes a top cover pivotably coupled to a bottom cover through a spine. The top cover includes loops or an upper lock receiving member and a lower lock receiving member defining a top cover lock insertion path. The bottom cover includes loops or an upper lock receiving member and a lower lock receiving member defining a bottom cover lock insertion path. The lower lock receiving members of both the top and bottom covers include hooks for receiving and maintaining a latch. When the top cover is closed on the bottom cover, the top and bottom cover insertion paths combine to form a combined lock insertion path. A lock for the storage case includes first and second catch mechanisms with first and second catches. To lock the storage case, the lock is inserted into the combined lock insertion path so that the catches on the lock mate with and are retained with the hooks in the top and bottom covers.

Case with internal lock

A lockable container for securing assets that has an integral and internal locking mechanism and methods of use are provided. An illustrative lockable container may include first and second covers configured to move between an open position, which allows access to the asset, and a closed position, which encloses the asset. The locking mechanism of the lockable container may include a locking mate arrangement operatively coupled to at least one of the first and second covers, and a locking member that is configured to move between an unlocked position and a locked position. The entirety of the locking member may be internal to the container when the locking member is in the unlocked position. A magnetic key arrangement may interact with the locking member to move the locking member between the unlocked and locked positions.

Communicating electronic key for secure access to a mecatronic cylinder

A personal property lock assembly mountable to a vehicle may comprise a cable lock (100), a protrusion (124) with a plateaued surface (116) of a lockbox (100), a mount coupler (501) comprising a seating surface to seat against the plateaued surface (116) and a mounting mechanism (614), and a fastener (618). The lock assembly (100) may comprise one or more locking mechanisms (201) to provide securement to a cable lock (100) that is anchored to a vehicle by way of a coupler (501). The lock assembly (100) further comprises a cable reel assembly (171) and a cable receiving mechanism (308) operable together to retractably store and allow extension of a length of a cable (120). A cable locking mechanism (201) removably binds and locks an end portion (321) of the cable (120) operably inserted in the cable receiving mechanism (308). As referenced herein, various mount couplers are effective for binding the cable lockbox to respective vehicles, which may also be disclosed with alternative embodiments.

Vehicle mountable personal property lock assembly

A key management system for controlling access to vehicle keys includes a key set, a key container and an electronic access device. The key set includes vehicle keys to a particular vehicle and a key tag associated with the vehicle keys having an electronically readable identifier. The key container has a key set storage area secured by an electronic lock and a circuit that detects when the key set is stored in the key set storage area. The access device is carried by a user to access the key container, and has a memory that is updated with at least the identifier of the key tag when the key container is successfully accessed.

System for managing physical assets

A key container has a body with a chamber, an access opening that communicates with the chamber and a cover that can be locked in place over the opening. A key-operated locking assembly is attached to the cover and engagable with the body to lock the cover in place. The cover can be engaged with the body and locked in place without operating the key.
