Highly efficient weighted for autoregression wilcoxon estimes for autoregression

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explore the use of Schweppe-type weights for a class of weighted Wiicoxon estimates and apply the corresponding estimates to an autoregressive time series model.
Book ChapterDOI

7 Rank-based analyses of linear models

TL;DR: In this paper, rank-based analyses of linear models are presented. But they are based on robust estimates of regression parameters in the same way as the traditional analysis of variance (ANOVA) is based on least squares (LS) estimates.
Journal ArticleDOI

Small Sample Properties of the Spearman Autocorrelation Estimator

TL;DR: In this article, the small sample properties of a variant of the Spearman rank correlation coefficient applied in the time-series context were investigated through Monte Carlo methods, and it was concluded that neither rank nor conventional parametric estimators and hypothesis tests are appropriate for very small samples in applications of time series analysis that have been recommended in the behavioral and social science literature.
