TL;DR: The maintenance of wakefulness test appears to be a useful procedure in differentiating groups with normal daytime wake tendency from those with impaired wake tendency and in identifying individuals with pathologic inability to remain awake under soporific circumstances.

Detection of respiratory events during NPSG: nasal cannula/pressure sensor versus thermistor.

TL;DR: It is concluded that the nasal cannula reliably detects respiratory events seen by thermistor, and it is proposed that respiratory monitoring during NPSG with nasal cannulas significantly improves event detection and classification over that with thermistor.
