Abstract: A differential pulse voltammetric method for the determination of famotidine in pharmaceutical preparations is described. The method is based on electrochemical oxidation of famotidine at a glassy carbon or platinum electrode. The proposed method shows good reproducibility, and sample preparation is simple.

Abstract: A new differential pulse polarographic method for the determination of buspirone pharmaceutical formulations is proposed. The method is based on the CN bond electroactivity of buspirone pirimidinic ring. Recovery study and content uniformity test are described. Adequate precision and accuracy were obtained. Sample preparation is easy, and no excipient separation is required.
