ORB-SLAM3: An Accurate Open-Source Library for Visual, Visual-Inertial and Multi-Map SLAM

TL;DR: This article presents ORB-SLAM3, the first system able to perform visual, visual-inertial and multimap SLAM with monocular, stereo and RGB-D cameras, using pin-hole and fisheye lens models, resulting in real-time robust operation in small and large, indoor and outdoor environments.

ORB-SLAM3: An Accurate Open-Source Library for Visual, Visual–Inertial, and Multimap SLAM

TL;DR: ORB-SLAM3 as mentioned in this paper is the first system able to perform visual, visual-inertial and multimap SLAM with monocular, stereo and RGB-D cameras, using pin-hole and fisheye lens models.

SD-DefSLAM: Semi-Direct Monocular SLAM for Deformable and Intracorporeal Scenes

TL;DR: The results show that SD-DefSLAM outperforms DefSLAM in point tracking, reconstruction accuracy and scale drift thanks to the improvement in all the data association steps, being the first system able to robustly perform SLAM inside the human body.

Direct and Sparse Deformable Tracking.

TL;DR: In this article, a deformable camera tracking method with a local deformation model for each point is introduced, where each map point is defined as a single textured surfel that moves independently of the other map points.
