Experimental observation of stimulated low-frequency Raman scattering in water suspensions of silver and gold nanoparticles
Nikolay V. Tcherniega,K. I. Zemskov,V. V. Savranskii,Anna D. Kudryavtseva,A Y Olenin,G V Lisichkin +5 more
TL;DR: Experimental observation of stimulated low-frequency Raman scattering (SLFRS) in gold and silver nanoparticle suspensions excited by 20 ns ruby laser pulses shows this type of stimulated scattering of light can be used as an effective source of biharmonic pumping for solving a large number of practical tasks.
Journal ArticleDOI
Laser excitation of gigahertz vibrations in Cauliflower mosaic viruses’ suspension
Nikolay V. Tcherniega,Sergey M. Pershin,Aleksei F Bunkin,E. K. Donchenko,Olga Karpova,Anna D. Kudryavtseva,Vasily N. Lednev,T. V. Mironova,M. A. Shevchenko,M. A. Strokov,K. I. Zemskov +10 more
TL;DR: The interaction of laser pulses with the Cauliflower mosaic virus (CaMV) in a Tris-HCl pH7.5 buffer is investigated in this article, where 20 ns ruby laser pulses are used for the excitation.

TL;DR: In this article, the low-frequency acoustic mode in cupric oxide (CuO) nanoparticles has been studied by stimulated lowfrequency Raman scattering (SLFRS), and the conversion efficiency, threshold and frequency shift of the scattered light are measured.
