Differences in secretion of the proteinase cathepsin B at the edges of human breast carcinomas and fibroadenomas

TL;DR: This study reports here the study of possible differences in the secretion of the lysosomal proteinases, cathepsin D and cat hepsin B, from explants of human tumours, both malignant and non-malignant and from normal breast tissue, as previously suggested.
Journal Article

Secretion of proteinases from malignant and nonmalignant human breast tissue.

TL;DR: Both malignant (adenocarcinomas) and nonmalignant (fibroadenomas and normal tissue) human breast tissues were maintained in organ culture for up to 10 days to study the secretion of lysosomal and neutral proteinases.
