The advancement of mobile technology had positively influenced healthcare services An emerging subfield of mobile technology is mobile health (m-Health) in which mobile applications are used for health purposes The aim of this study was to analyze and assess literature published in the field of m-Health SciVerse Scopus was used to retrieve literature in m-Health The study period was set from 2006 to 2016 ArcGIS 101 was used to present geographical distribution of publications while VOSviewer was used for data visualization Growth of publications, citation analysis, and research productivity were presented using standard bibliometric indicators During the study period, a total of 5465 documents were published, giving an average of 4968 documents per year The h-index of retrieved documents was 81 Core keywords used in literature pertaining to m-Health included diabetes mellitus, adherence, and obesity among others Relative growth rate and doubling time of retrieved literature were stable from 2009 to 2015 indicating exponential growth of literature in this field A total of 4638 (849%) documents were multi-authored with a mean collaboration index of 41 authors per article The United States of America ranked first in productivity with 1926 (352%) published documents India ranked sixth with 183 (33%) documents while China ranked seventh with 155(28%) documents VA Medical Center was the most prolific organization/institution while Journal of Medical Internet Research was the preferred journal for publications in the field of m-Health Top cited articles in the field of m-Health included the use of mobile technology in improving adherence in HIV patients, weight loss, and improving glycemic control in diabetic patients The size of literature in m-Health showed a noticeable increase in the past decade Given the large volume of citations received in this field, it is expected that applications of m-Health will be seen into various health aspects and health services Research in m-Health needs to be encouraged, particularly in the fight against AIDS, poor medication adherence, glycemic control in Africa and other low income world regions where technology can improve health services and decrease disease burden

Bibliometric analysis of worldwide scientific literature in mobile - health: 2006–2016

This part of the study highlights the contents of the published articles in terms of various disciplines or sub-disciplines and the bibliometric aspects discussed in these articles. The analysis of 902 papers published by Indian scholars during1995-2014 indicates that the main focus of bibliometrics/scientometrics is on assessment of science and technology in India in different sub-disciplines including contributions by Indian states and other individual countries followed by bibliometric analysis of individual journals. Papers dealing with bibliometric laws received a low priority as compared to other subdisciplines of bibliometrics/scientometrics. The analysis of data indicates that the share of theoretical studies using mathematical and statistical techniques which were missing in the earlier period (1970-1994) has increased during 1995-2014. The field of medicine as a discipline received the highest attention as compared to other disciplines.

Bibliometrics and scientometrics in India: An overview of studies during 1995-2014Part II: Contents of the articles in terms of disciplines and their bibliometric aspects

This paper focus on the growth and development of mobile technology research in terms of publication output as reflected in Web of Science database. During 2000---2013 a total of 10,638 publications were published in the field. The average number of publications published per year was 759.86 and the highest number of publications 1495 were published in 2013. Output of total publications, 9037 were produced by multiple authors and 1601 by single authors. Authors from USA have contributed maximum number of publications compared to the other countries and India stood 16th ranking in terms of productivity in this study period. The most prolific author is Kim who contributed 42 publications followed by Kim with 36 publications. Collaboration Index ranges from 3.67 (2000) to 4.57 (2009) with an average of 4.32 per joint authored paper which implies the research team falls between 3 and 5 in the field of mobile technology. University of California System (USA) is the highly contributed institutions with 243 publications followed by University of London (UK) with 149 publications, Florida State University System (USA), National Chiao Tung University (China) with 88 publications.

Gender, tourism & entrepreneurship: A critical review

Breast cancer is the most lethal type of cancer for all women worldwide. At the moment, there are no effective techniques for preventing or curing breast cancer, as the source of the disease is unclear. Early diagnosis is a highly successful means of detecting and managing breast cancer, and early identification may result in a greater likelihood of complete recovery. Mammography is the most effective method of detecting breast cancer early. Additionally, this instrument enables the detection of additional illnesses and may provide information about the nature of cancer, such as benign, malignant, or normal. This article discusses an evolutionary approach for classifying and detecting breast cancer that is based on machine learning and image processing. This model combines image preprocessing, feature extraction, feature selection, and machine learning techniques to aid in the classification and identification of skin diseases. To enhance the image’s quality, a geometric mean filter is used. AlexNet is used for extracting features. Feature selection is performed using the relief algorithm. For disease categorization and detection, the model makes use of the machine learning techniques such as least square support vector machine, KNN, random forest, and Naïve Bayes. The experimental investigation makes use of MIAS data collection. This proposed technology is advantageous for accurately identifying breast cancer disease using image analysis.

Computational Technique Based on Machine Learning and Image Processing for Medical Image Analysis of Breast Cancer Diagnosis

Many approaches for crop yield prediction were analyzed by countries using remote sensing data, but the information obtained was less successful due to insufficient data gathered due to climatic variables and poor image resolution. As a result, current crop yield estimation methods are obsolete and no longer useful. Several attempts have been made to overcome these difficulties by combining high precision remote sensing images. Furthermore, such remote sensing-based working models are better suited to extraterrestrial farmers and homogeneous agricultural areas. The development of this innovative framework was prompted by a scarcity of high-quality satellite imagery. This intelligent strategy is based on a new theoretical framework that employs the energy equation to improve crop yield predictions. This method was used to collect input from multiple farmers in order to validate the observation. The proposed technique’s excellent reliability on crop yield prediction is compared and contrasted between crop yield prediction and actual production in different areas, and meaningful observations are provided.

During 2003-2012, a total of 144567 publications were published in the field. The average number of publications published per year was 14456.7 and the highest numbers of publications 20318 were published in 2011. Authors from China have contributed maximum number of publications compared to the other countries and India stood 7 th in terms of productivity in this period. The most prolific author is Wang, Wei who contributed 223 publications followed by Barolli, Leonard with 160 publications. Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE), New York (USA) is the highly contributed institution with 1248 publications followed by South-East University (China) with 508 publications, Nokia Research Centre, Cambridge (UK) with 502 publications and School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) with 290 publications. The relative growth rates (RGR) has decreased from 2004 (0.98) to 2012 (0.13) in the span of 10 years. Mapping of Mobile Technology Publications: A Scientometric Approach

This paper presents the growth and development of mobile technology research across the world publications output on Web of Science during the period 2000 to 2013. A total of 10638 publications were published in the field and an average number of publications published per year was 759.86. The highest number of publications 1495 was published in 2013 and the lowest number of publications is 270 in 2000. The relative growth rates (RGR) has decreased from 2001 (0.78) to 2013 (0.15) in the span of 13 years. The doubling time (DT) has gradually increased from 0.89 in 2001 to 4.62 in 2013. Out of total publications, 4597 were produced by multi authors and 2593 by mega authors. Pattern of co-authorship revealed the improving trend of co-authored publications. The average value of collaboration co-efficient for mobile technology is 0.56. The top 10 countries listed from USA to Spain contributed to 81 % of total output of the literature, USA topped the list with highest share of publications (2738) followed by UK (890), China (823), and South Korea (802) publications, etc. University of California System (USA) is the highly contributed institution with 243 publications followed by University of London (UK) with 149 publications.
