On the entropy optimization of hemodynamic peristaltic pumping of a nanofluid with geometry effects

The significance of the study is to determine of transferred heat and mass impact on the magneto-hydrodynamic peristalsis of Jeffery nanofluid through porous media with inclined symmetric channels whose walls are induced by peristaltic motion within porous media. The aim of this investagtion is to study the influence of various types of parameters such as Brownian motion, thermophoresis, buoyancy forces, and magnetic fields are studies on concentration, temperature, and axial velocity. The numerical solution has been achieved according to the long-wavelength and low Reynolds number approximation utilizing the MATLAB bvp4c function. The resultant dimensions of nonlinear governing equations were approached numerically through the Runge-Kutta- Fehlberg integration scheme, a MATLAB program. The influence of different factors such as the ratio of relaxation to retardation times, nanoparticle Grashof number, and magnetic field was discussed on concentration, temperature, and velocity profiles. tables and graphs were used to demonstrate the numerically computed numerical results. Plotting graphs were utilized for evaluating the pertinent parameters impacts on the aforementioned quantities based on computational results. According to the findings, the effect of the parameters are significant.

Electrothermal blood streaming conveying hybridized nanoparticles in a non-uniform endoscopic conduit

Gold nanoparticles associated with DNA, RNA, proteins, oligonucleotides, and peptides are useful in therapies and drug delivery. The present article mainatins that gold nanoparticles play a tremendous role in remedying cancer and fatal diseases. A mathematical model is proposed for the two‐dimensional motion of the couple stress nanofluid consisting of gold nanoparticles under the application of peristaltic propulsion and electroosmosis mechanisms in an asymmetric microchannel. The effects of radiation with slip boundary have been employed. The governing equations are simplified under the assumptions of low Reynolds number and long wavelength and the Poisson‐Boltzmann equation is solved under Debye–Hückel linearization. Analytical solutions for the velocity of fluid motion, nanoparticle temperature, stream function, pressure gradient, are evaluated and analyzed graphically under the effects of various physical parameters. It is notable from the analysis that raising the Brinkman number boosts the nanoparticle temperature and heat transfer coefficient which validate the physical model and analysis. Moreover, it is noticed that sphere‐shaped gold nanoparticles enhance the temperature as compared to other geometries of nanoparticles. The present study results may assist in developing the technology, smart micropumps, drugs, and device for hemodialysis and other health care applications.

Analysis of thermal radiation, Joule heating, and viscous dissipation effects on blood‐gold couple stress nanofluid flow driven by electroosmosis

Mathematical modeling of electrothermal couple stress nanofluid flow and entropy in a porous microchannel under injection process

This study explores the effects of electro-magneto-hydrodynamics, Hall currents, and convective and slip boundary conditions on the peristaltic propulsion of nanofluids (considered as couple stress nanofluids) through porous symmetric microchannels. The phenomena of energy and mass transfer are considered under thermal radiation and heat source/sink. The governing equations are modeled and non-dimensionalized under appropriate dimensionless quantities. The resulting system is solved numerically with MATHEMATICA (with an in-built function, namely the Runge-Kutta scheme). Graphical results are presented for various fluid flow quantities, such as the velocity, the nanoparticle temperature, the nanoparticle concentration, the skin friction, the nanoparticle heat transfer coefficient, the nanoparticle concentration coefficient, and the trapping phenomena. The results indicate that the nanoparticle heat transfer coefficient is enhanced for the larger values of thermophoresis parameters. Furthermore, an intriguing phenomenon is observed in trapping: the trapped bolus is expanded with an increase in the Hartmann number. However, the bolus size decreases with the increasing values of both the Darcy number and the electroosmotic parameter.
