A comment on the mechanism of anodic chlorate formation
TL;DR: In this article, an analysis of the mechanism of sodium chlorate production based on the electrolytic formation and simultaneous hydrolysis and diffusion and chlorine is presented which differs from previous analyses in that chlorine hydrolyisation occurs in a reaction layer of thickness less than the hydrodynamic diffusion layer.
