Early and late results of pericardiectomy in 118 cases of constrictive pericarditis.
TL;DR: The medical records of 118 patients who underwent pericardiectomy for constrictive pericarditis at the Christian Medical College Hospital, Vellore, from 1954 to 1985 were reviewed and improved surgical results recently may be related to increased use of inotropic support and prolonged ventilation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Therapeutic potential of pyrrole and pyrrolidine analogs: an update
TL;DR: The chemistry of nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound pyrrole and pyrrolidine has been a versatile field of study for a long time for its diverse biological and medicinal importance as mentioned in this paper .
Journal ArticleDOI
Naphtho[2,1-b]furan derived triazole-pyrimidines as Highly potential InhA and Cytochrome c peroxidase inhibitors: Synthesis, DFT calculations, Drug-Likeness profile, molecular docking and dynamic studies
D Roopa,K Shyamsunder,Prashantha Karunakar,R. Jothi Ramalingam,Mr. Karnan,Kothuri Kiran,Manickam Selvaraj,S. M. Basavarajaiah +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the synthesis of new 3-(4-substituted phenyl)naphtho[1′,2′:4,5]furo[2,3-e][1,2,4]triazolo[4,3c]pyrimidines 6(a-f).
Journal ArticleDOI
Validation of Titmus vision screener V4 for diagnosing refractory errors and colour blindness: An analogy with quotidian
TL;DR: In this article , the authors evaluated the validity profile of Titmus vision screener V4 for measuring visual acuity and colour perception as a screening tool for young adults attending OPD at a tertiary care center.
Early andlate results ofpericardiectomy in118cases ofconstrictive pericarditis
TL;DR: Thepoor results of pericardiectomy insome patients are likely toberelated to advanced preoperative disability and early pericardectomy is recommended, and improved surgical results recently may berelated to increased use ofinotropic support andprolonged ventilation.
