Journal ArticleDOI
Dielectric behaviour of erbium substituted Mn-Zn ferrites
TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured the dielectric properties of mixed Mn-Zn-Er ferrites having the compositional formula Mn0.58Zn0.37Er1.05−xErx04 (where itx = 0.2, 0.4, 0.,6, 0,8 and 1.0) at room temperature in the frequency range 1−13 MHz using a HP 4192A impedance analyser.
Journal ArticleDOI
First Paleoproterozoic ophiolite from Gondwana: Geochronologic–geochemical documentation of ancient oceanic crust from Kandra, SE India
TL;DR: The Kandra Ophiolite complex (KOC) as mentioned in this paper is the first unambiguous ophiolites reported from India, and probably the first from Gondwana.
Journal Article
Evolution of the Eastern Ghats Belt, India: A Plate Tectonic Perspective
K. Vijaya Kumar,C. Leelanandam +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the evolution of the Proterozoic Eastern Ghats Belt (EGB) involved two distinct episodes of convergence, both being initiated by the onset of continental rifting.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrical conductivity of Ni-Zn-Gd ferrites
TL;DR: The electrical conductivity of polycrystalline gadolinium substituted mixed nickel-zinc ferrite was investigated from room temperature to well beyond the Curie temperature in this article, where the activation energy in the ferromagnetic region is, in general, less than that in the paramagnetic region.
Journal ArticleDOI
Formation and fragmentation of the Palaeoproterozoic supercontinent Columbia: evidence from the Eastern Ghats Granulite Belt, southeast India
TL;DR: The Eastern Ghats Granulite Belt (EGGB) is an important component of the GIPFOB and a key player in models of the configuration of the supercontinent as mentioned in this paper.
