TL;DR: In this paper, an adaptive frame length method based on block acknowledgment in a wireless network is proposed, where the current channel state is judged instantly through the information in the block acknowledgment, the frame length is adjusted adaptively to an optimal size, on the basis of the existing frame aggregation and block acknowledgment technology, the throughput and channel utilization efficiency are further improved, the adaptive module complexity is reduced, thus the channel has high flexibility and adaptivity, and thus the overall transmission performance of a wireless LAN is improved.
