Abstract: In the centrosymmetric formula unit of the title complex, C 8 H 16 O 4 .2C 12 H 11 NO 4 S 2 , the disulfonylamine molecules are linked to 12-crown-4 via a slightly bent N-H...O hydrogen bond [N…O 2.771(2)A]. The macrocycle adopts the [66] conformation and the (PhSO 2 ) 2 NH molecules have an open pseudo-C2 symmetric conformation with the phenyl groups lying on opposite sides of the S-N-S plane.

Abstract: In the centrosymmetric formula unit of the title complex, C 12 H 24 O 6 .2C 2 H 6 OS.2C 12 H 9 F 2 NO 4 S 2 , each dimethyl sulfoxide molecule is bonded to 18-crown-6 via a set of C-H… O interactions involving two H atoms of one methyl group. The sulfoxide O atoms accept a nearly linear N-H… O hydrogen bond from the disulfonylamine NH functions [N…O 2.651 (2) A]. The macrocycle has approximately D 3d symmetry, and the disulfonylamine molecules feature a folded pseudo-C, symmetric conformation.
