PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the corrosion of equipments succeeding a recuperator due to SO 2 adhesion in a coal/heavy oil mixed fuel-fired boiler even when the sulfur content in fuel and the mixed fuel burning ratio of coal is lowered and even when switching to single fuel firing of heavy oil. SOLUTION: The circulated quantity of a heat transfer medium to a waste gas recuperator 6 is controlled so that the temperature of waste gas at the outlet of the waste gas recuperator 6 may be held at the dew point of SO 3 or less on the heavy oil firing or on the coal/heavy oil mixed fuel firing when the mixed fuel burning ratio of coal is low. Since smoke dust by heavy oil does not react with SO 3 , the quantity of smoke dust by heavy oil is previously known. Therefore, on the heavy oil/coal mixed fuel burning, the concentration of coal ash is calculated from the mixing ratio thereof by subtracting the concentration of smoke dust by heavy oil from the detected value of the concentration of smoke dust. Since the quantity of SO 3 reacts with the concentration of coal ash is known, the dew point of SO 3 based on the concentration of SO 3 in consideration of the reduced content is calculated to control the circulated quantity of a heat transfer medium to the waste gas recuperator 6 from a waste gas reheating heat exchanger 10 from heat transfer medium piping 25. SOLUTION: The upper structure coupling device comprises a coupling pin 15 penetrating an upper structure coupling portion 22 and a lower structure coupling portion 12, having a tip end portion projecting out from an outer peripheral surface of the upper structure coupling portion 22 or the lower structure coupling portion 12, provided with an engaging portion 15a at the tip end portion, and capable of being drawn/inserted; a slip-off preventive member 31 engaged/disengaged with/from the engaging portion 15a; and supporting mechanisms 31d, 32 movably supporting the slip-off preventive member 31 between a lock position engaged with the engaging portion 15a and inhibiting drawing/inserting of the coupling pin 15, and an unlock position disengaged from the engaging portion 15a and permitting the drawing/inserting of the coupling pin 15. PURPOSE:To enhance the optical coupling efficiency between a light emitting element and an optical fiber by supporting the tip part of the optical fiber with a supporting body. CONSTITUTION:The tip part of an optical fiber 5 is supported and fixed on the upper face of a height adjusting nut 15 by a fixing member 6 consisting of a resin, a solder, or the like. this nut 15 is engaged with a bolt 17 welded to the bottom face of a recessed fixing member storage part 16 which is provided on the main face of a pedestal part. The bolt 17 and the nut 15 are fixed by a fixing member 18 consisting of a resin, a solder, or the like charged into the fixing member storage part 16 and are locked so that they can not move; and a prescribed voltage is impressed to a chip 1 to emit a laser light 4, and the tip part of the optical fiber 5 is moved finely vertically and horizontally, and the optical fiber is made stationary in the position where the intensity of the laser light 4 taken into the optical fiber is maximum, and the nut 15 is turned to support the optical fiber 5.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating temperature adjustment method which enables a reduction in heating by a steam gas heater for keeping a standard value of a waste gas heating while keeping the discharge temperature of a waste gas generated in power generation at a discharge temperature. SOLUTION: The heating temperature adjustment method is employed for adjusting the temperature of a steam gas heater for carrying out heating to keep the gas discharged out of a chimney of a power plant at a prescribed temperature. The heating temperature adjustment method involves lowering the temperature setting of the steam gas heater in accordance with measurement of load of power generation in the power plant and measurement of the decrease of the load of the power generation for a prescribed duration or in accordance with measurement that the load of the power generation is kept approximately constant for a prescribed time. Heating temperature adjustment method and temperature control system

PURPOSE:To enable the measurement of alpha-amylase with a high reliability without being affected by an interfering component in a measuring sample, by separating alpha-amylase from reducing substance with a separation column applying liquid chromatograph technology. CONSTITUTION:A fixed amount of sample solution is fed with a liquid feed pump 2 to be injected into an eluate 3 from a sample injection 1. As the sample reaches a column 4, alpha-amylase in the sample elutes being separated from a coexistent substance within the column 4. An amylose solution 5 including iodine as guest compound is fed to a three-way value 7 with a feed pump 6. The solution 5 is hydrolyzed at a heating coil 8 by the alpha-amylase which eluted being separated from the column 4. The iodine isolated from the amylase for heating is included again at a cooling coil 9 to detect the iodine molecule alone isolated by alpha-amylase at an iodine electrode 10. A reducing current flowing at this point is amplified with an amplifier 11 and introduced to a data processor 12 to display the concentration of alpha-amylase in the sample.

Analysis of alpha-amylase and measuring apparatus

PURPOSE:To raise the corrosion resistance of a heating tube material as well as permit the operation of a desulfurizer for flue gas without the need to lower the temperature of heat medium even when a variation in load occurs by using a system in which untreated gas is heat-exchanged and the temperature of the heat medium heated is raised by steam, etc. CONSTITUTION:In a heat recoverer 1, untreated gas heats a heat medium sent by a heat medium pump 5 inside the heating tube 12 of the heat recoverer and then enters through a gas duct 15 into a cooling tower 29. In a cooling tower 30, sulfur dioxide present in the untreated gas is absorbed by an absorption liquid, the treated gas is heated in a preheater 31 and further heated by a reheater 2 and also by a heater 3, and the heated gas enters through a gas duct 17 into a steam gas heater 33. By this, even when a variation is load occurs, the desulfurizer can be operated without the need to lower the temperature of the heat medium and also the corrosion resistance of the heating tube material can be raised.

Reheating method of treated gas in flue gas desulfurization

PURPOSE:To contrive maintenance and inspection of a lay down type gas gas heater and upkeep of a space for a soot blower and to miniaturize a device, by providing a side plate cum rail on a tube bundle and providing a wheel underneath the side plate. CONSTITUTION:A tube bundle side plate 1 provided on a tube bundle 3 is provided with a rail 17, and on its lower side is provided with a wheel 2 as well. As for an installation of the tube bundle 3 of a thermal medium circulation method closed multi-tube type gas gas heater, the wheel 2 provided on the other side plate 1 may well be placed on the rail 17 of the side plate 1.

Lay down type gas gas heater

PURPOSE:To make a processed gas reheating system compact and to reduce the cost of producing the system by a method wherein a liquid phase heat medium circulating between a cooling section for a non-processed gas and a heating section for a processed gas is brought into direct contact with any one or both of the above mentioned two kinds of gases. CONSTITUTION:A high temperature non-processed gas 1 becomes a low temperature nonprocessed gas 1' by coming into direct contact with a low temperature heat medium 3 in a first heat medium contact device 11 and the heat medium 3 becomes a high temperature heat medium 3'. Next, the high temperature heat medium 3' is introduced into a second heat medium contact device 13 where it comes into direct contact with a low temperature processed gas 2 to become the low temperature heat medium 3 while the gas 2 becomes a high temperature processed gas 2'. The low temperature heat medium 3 which has left the contact device 13 is then introduced into a precipitation tank 14 where it is kept still so as to precipitate dust removed from the gas 1 while the cooling thereof. Further, the precipitation liquid 4 in the tank 14 is then transferred to a solid-liquid separation device 16 so as to separate the dust 5 from the liquid and is returned to the tank 14 again by means of a return pump 17.

Reheating method of gas subjected to waste gas desulfurizing processes

PURPOSE:To decrease the temp. differences in a titled device and make dust sticking difficult by connecting the heat exchanging tube bundles provided in the ducts for the gas prior to desulfurization and the desulfurized gas by means of piping and holding heat transfer fluid in the system. CONSTITUTION:The heat exchanging tube bundle 31 provided in a duct 3 in which the high-temp. gas prior to desulfurization flows and the heat exchanging tube bundle 41 provided in a duct 4 in which the low-temp. desulfurized gas flows are connected by means of piping 5, and heat transfer fluid is put in this system and is forcibly circulated by a heat medium pump 6. The heat transfer fluid is heated in the duct 3 and radiates heat in the duct 4. As a result, the high-temp. gas 1 prior to desulfurization is cooled to gas 1' which enters a desulfurizing apparatus. The treated low-temp. gas 2' is heated to gas 2 which is released from a chimney without producing white smoke.
