Chagas disease: moving towards global elimination.
TL;DR: The WHO Global Network for Chagas Elimination was launched in July, 2007, to coordinate global efforts to eliminate this neglected disease in the next 3 years, but the target date of 2010 is “perhaps optimistic” and adequate tests and diagnostics are still needed to establish a cure.
