Outcomes of Endoscopic Ultrasound-Guided Biliary Drainage in Patients Undergoing Antithrombotic Therapy
Nozomi Okuno,Kazuo Hara,Nobumasa Mizuno,Shin Haba,Takamichi Kuwahara,Hiroki Koda,Masahiro Tajika,Tsutomu Tanaka,Sachiyo Onishi,Keisaku Yamada,Akira Miyano,Daiki Fumihara,Moaz Elshair +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, a single-center retrospective study included 220 consecutive patients who underwent EUS-BD between January 2013 and December 2018, and compared the bleeding event rates among patients who received and those who did not receive antithrombotic agents.
Journal ArticleDOI
Prospective evaluation of a transnasal endoscopy utilizing flexible spectral imaging color enhancement (FICE) with the Valsalva maneuver for detecting pharyngeal and esophageal cancer.
T. Tanaka,Yasumasa Niwa,Masahiro Tajika,Makoto Ishihara,Hiroshi Imaoka,Nobumasa Mizuno,Kazuo Hara,Susuma Hijioka,Yoshiki Hirooka,Hidemi Goto,Kenji Yamao +10 more
TL;DR: TNE with FICE chromoendoscopy with the Valsalva maneuver for detecting pharyngeal and esophageal cancer was more sensitive than WLE.
Journal Article
Hodgkin's disease following extranodal marginal zone B-cell lymphoma in remission.
TL;DR: A patient who developed Hodgkin's disease after an 11-year remission of marginal zone B-cell (MZB) lymphoma (low grade B- cell lymphoma of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue type) is presented and morphologic, immunophenotypic, and genotypic findings were compatible with the diagnosis of Hodgkins's disease.
Journal ArticleDOI
Utility of a novel drill dilator for easier EUS‐guided pancreatic duct drainage
Kazuo Hara,Nozomi Okuno,Shin Haba,Takamichi Kuwahara,Yasuhiro Kuraishi,Takafumi Yanaidani,Daiki Fumihara,Masanori Yamada,Tsukasa Yasuda,Syo Ishikawa +9 more
TL;DR: A special dedicated dilator was applied for EUSPD, which was performed for abdominal pain caused by anastomotic stenosis of pancreatojejunostomy, and it looks like a drill named Tornus ES (Tornus ES, Asahi Intec).
Patent
Neutral density filter
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a neutral density filter which has substantially no reflection at a preset wavelength and has stable characteristics by providing a transparent dielectric film in contact with the surface of a metallic film and providing a thin metallic film to the side opposite from the metallic film.
